HPL (layered high-pressure laminate) with a compact resin core and decorative surface is made for ventilated dry facades: impact-resistant, colour-stable and light. HPL's sensitivity lies in “letting the back of the facade breathe” and in fixing — colour-matched rivets and concealed clips must be installed with open joints, otherwise trapped vapour will warp the sheet.
HPL prices depend on brand, thickness (usually 6 to 10 mm for facades) and finish, and the market fluctuates heavily; per our rule we never post made-up prices — send the project specifications and we will compare same-day quotations from several suppliers in writing. We also prepare the complete take-off from the drawings, free of charge.
