Stretch metal is sheet whose slit strands are pulled open to form regular geometric openings; the result is a light facade with rich shadow play that works both as cladding and for metal ceilings and entrance canopies. The ratio of open mesh to raw sheet determines weight and price — unlike punching, here the stretch factor affects the weight calculation.
We expand the sheet with an industrial machine and a fixed template so the mesh stays uniform across the whole facade (scattered manual work is the biggest visual defect of stretch metal).
